Doing this procedure was the best decision I could have made for myself because it has allowed me to be a more free person. There were so many things I had to do before to attempt to hide this problem, and now I don’t have to worry any more than an average person does. For example, when shopping for clothes I was restricted to clothing that helped disguise my problem. The worst thing was that I was always worrying about other people noticing my sweaty armpits. That constant worry is gone now. It is not that I don’t think about it, but when I do I am not embarrassed, I am confident. When I told my friends and family about my problem they did not believe it existed, most likely because of the efforts I went to hide it, but perhaps because other people can’t imagine dealing with such a small simply embarrassing issue. As silly as that sounds, before I had the surgery that was a dream to me. Dr. Pnini and his staff were wonderful to me and I never felt uncomfortable around them. The whole procedure went by so fast, and healed quickly with very minimal scarring that has continued to disappear.
